Robbery Suspect Fires Shots at HPD Officer; Suspect Now in Custody, No Injuries Reported

October 5, 2023 – Houston Police Department Commanders and the Public Information Officer are en route to the 8500 block of Braniff Street, where a robbery suspect reportedly fired shots at an officer. Authorities have confirmed that the suspect is now in custody.

Neither the officer involved nor the suspect sustained injuries in the incident. Additional information will be provided at the scene as it becomes available.
