HCSO Texas Engages in Brief Pursuit of Stolen Vehicle; Nearby School on Lockdown

October 5, 2023 – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office in Texas initiated an attempt to stop a stolen vehicle earlier today. A brief pursuit took place, concluding at the 13000 block of Knollcrest, where two suspects abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. Authorities are currently conducting an active search for the suspects.

As a precautionary measure, Cimarron Elementary School, part of the Galena Park Independent School District, has been temporarily placed on lockdown. Further details are awaited.
