MCTXSheriff Arrests Three for Burglary of Habitation in The Woodlands, Texas

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas, Oct. 4, 2023 – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three individuals on charges of Burglary of a Habitation, a second-degree felony. On Oct. 2, 2023, at approximately 10:00 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a suspicious persons call in the neighborhood of South Tranquil Path, The Woodlands, Texas.

Deputies assigned to The Woodlands Township patrol division located the suspects’ vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Tools commonly used in burglaries and a backpack containing jewelry and personal items belonging to another person were found in the vehicle. Through further investigation, the suspects were linked to two area burglaries. All stolen items have been returned to the rightful owners.

The suspects, identified as Orlando Barreto, age 22, Joanny Rojas Nunez, age 30, and Anthony Jimenez, age 28, were transported to Montgomery County Jail and are currently on Immigration hold.
