Suspect Charged in Fatal Assault at Avenue Station Apartments

Oct. 3, 2023 – Todd Jordashe Jackson, 24, has been charged with murder in the 486th State District Court following a fatal assault that occurred at Avenue Station Apartments, located at 2010 North Main Street. The incident took place around 7 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 2.

Authorities responded to an assault call at the aforementioned address and found a 46-year-old male victim suffering from blunt force trauma. Paramedics transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Jackson, a family member of the victim, was detained at the scene for questioning. He was subsequently charged for his role in the assault and has been booked into the Harris County Jail.
