1-Year-Old in Stable Condition After Being Struck by Vehicle in Dickinson Apartment Complex

DICKINSON, Texas, Sept. 28, 2023 – A 1-year-old boy is in stable condition after being struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of Church Village Apartments, located at 2902 Deats Road, on Wednesday evening. The incident occurred at approximately 6:33 p.m.

The child was transported to HCA Healthcare Houston Clear Lake for precautionary measures. According to standard protocol, children under the age of 10 are taken to a hospital when there is a potential risk of head injuries.

Detective Guadalupe Vasquez of the Dickinson Police Department stated that the driver involved in the auto-pedestrian collision will not be cited and is not facing any criminal charges.
