LASD Palmdale Deputy Shot and Killed; Suspect Remains At Large
PALMDALE, CA, September 17, 2023 – Tragedy struck the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) Palmdale station on the night of September 17 when Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer was fatally shot while inside his patrol vehicle.
Deputy Clinkunbroomer, 30, had been an esteemed member of the LASD for eight years. The devastating event comes just days after Deputy Clinkunbroomer celebrated his engagement, amplifying the tragedy of his untimely passing. Luna implored, “We really need your help. We need to get this guy off the street – guy or guys. He’s a public safety threat. He ambushed and killed – murdered – one of our deputies. We need your help to get him off the street.”
