Two Arrested on Drug and Assault Charges Following Traffic Stop by Precinct 3 Constable’s Unit
CONROE, TX, September 8 – A routine traffic stop initiated by the Precinct 3 Constable Ryan Gable’s Criminal Interdiction Unit led to the arrest of two individuals on serious charges. The stop occurred on September 8 when the unit pulled over a gray Nissan sedan on Sawdust Road at I-45 due to an equipment violation previously noticed on Borough Park Drive.
During the stop, passenger Cody James Albert, 31, of Spring, was reportedly found in possession of methamphetamine and THC wax. Deputies report that Albert resisted arrest, engaging in a struggle with the officers. Another passenger in the vehicle, Anavella Fajardo of Houston, was also reportedly found in possession of THC wax. She is alleged to have assaulted a deputy during her arrest. Both individuals were subsequently transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe for booking, facing a series of charges.
Albert has been charged with a second-degree felony for possession of a controlled substance, Penalty Group 2, with the quantity being more than 4 grams but less than 400 grams. He is also facing a class A misdemeanor charge for resisting arrest, search, or transport. The courts have set his bond at a total of $2,500.
Fajardo faces a second-degree felony charge for possession of a controlled substance, falling under Penalty Group 2, with the quantity also being more than 4 grams but less than 400 grams. Additionally, she has been charged with a third-degree felony for assault on a public servant/police officer. Her bond has been established at $2,000 for the drug charge, while the bond for the assault charge is yet to be determined.
