Houston Police Seeking Information on Missing Juvenile
HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS, Sept. 11, 2023 – The Houston Police Department is actively seeking information regarding the whereabouts of runaway juvenile, Nalina “Nina” Carcamo, who was last seen in the early hours of August 6, 2023.
Nalina, 16, was last seen near the 4500 block of Beechnut Street at approximately 1:00 a.m. She left on foot in an unknown direction, carrying a red and black Jordan backpack. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing an unidentified color t-shirt, pants, and shoes. Nalina is described as being 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. She has a light brown complexion and is known to have a tattoo reading “BLESSED” along with a double nose piercing. Nalina was born on July 30, 2007.
It is a criminal offense to harbor a runaway child knowingly and being criminally negligent about the child being under 18 and having left home without the consent of a parent or guardian for a substantial length of time without intending to return. The offense is considered a Class A misdemeanor according to Section 25.06 – Harboring Runaway Child.
