Montgomery County’s Technical Rescue Team Unites for Trench Rescue Operation

(MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas, August 31, 2023) – Demonstrating the power of collaborative effort, Montgomery County’s Technical Rescue Team recently executed a successful trench rescue operation. The multi-departmental task force consisted of The Woodlands Fire Department, North Montgomery County Fire Department, Conroe Fire Department, and Magnolia Technical Rescue Teams. These specialized units came together, combining forces and equipment, to assist the Montgomery County Emergency Services District No. 2 (MCESD#2) – Montgomery Fire Department in the operation.

Additional aid was contributed by the Montgomery County Hospital District and the Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, further strengthening the collaborative effort. The undertaking showcased the high level of training and coordination among the county’s emergency services teams.
