Houston Police Await Autopsy Results for Male Found Deceased at 7600 Liberty Road

(HOUSTON, TX, Aug. 31, 2023) – Houston Police Department (HPD) is awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 7600 Liberty Road, at approximately 7:55 a.m. today. The identity and cause of death of the individual are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD patrol officers received a call about a deceased person at the specified address. Passers-by who were walking along the bridge discovered an unresponsive male lying under the bridge. The body was in an advanced state of decomposition, and the individual was pronounced deceased by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
