Houston Police Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Beaumont Highway

HOUSTON, TX, August 25, 2023 – Houston Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred at approximately 6:05 a.m. on Friday, August 25, at 10001 Beaumont Highway (North U.S. Highway 90).

The identity of the deceased 27-year-old male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to witnesses, the male was operating a gray Honda XL80 motorcycle and weaving in and out of westbound traffic at the above address. At some point, the male, who was not wearing a helmet, lost control of the motorcycle and was thrown from the bike. Paramedics transported the man to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
