Multiple Agencies Respond to Large Grass Fire in Magnolia Area
MAGNOLIA, TX, DATE – Multiple Boosters and tankers from Magnolia Fire Department (#MFD18) along with Tomball Fire Rescue Booster 1 have been actively working to control a large grass fire since just before 06:00 AM. The response includes efforts in three separate locations off Richard Kaye Ln, the end of Ruby Ln, and the 600 block of Virgie Community Rd.
As of the update at 07:47, the Texas A&M Forest Service has arrived on scene with two dozers to create a fire line around the perimeter. Fortunately, no threats to homes have been identified at this time, and no injuries have been reported.
Local fire crews continue to monitor the situation and take necessary actions to fully extinguish the grass fire, with support from the Texas A&M Forest Service. The community has been reassured that safety measures are in place, and the situation is under control. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
