Suspect Charged in Fatal Stabbing on New York Street
Charges have been filed against Michael Anthony Wilson, 65, following the fatal stabbing of a 36-year-old woman at 6366 New York Street, Houston, at approximately 11:05 a.m. on Wednesday, August 9.
According to the Houston Police Department, the victim arrived in the front yard of a friend’s residence, informed her friend that she had been stabbed, and then collapsed. Houston Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene, where they pronounced her deceased. The identity of the deceased woman is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
Further investigation, combined with witness statements and evidence gathered from the scene, led to the identification of Wilson as the suspect in this case. He was located a short time later and arrested. Wilson has been charged with murder in the 262nd State District Court and has been booked into the Harris County Jail.
