Investigation Underway into Fatal Shooting at 9555 Crofton Street; Police Seek Person of Interest
HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Police Department (HPD) is actively investigating the fatal shooting of a man identified as Jalenn Bullock, 29, found unresponsive in an apartment at 9555 Crofton Street. The tragic discovery was made around 1:35 p.m. on Saturday, August 5.
HPD patrol officers responded to the scene after a friend of Mr. Bullock found him in the apartment. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Witnesses at the location provided crucial information, informing officers that two to three individuals were seen running out of the apartment following the sound of gunshots. One person of interest in the case has been described as a tall and skinny black male with red, short “twisty” hair.
