Vehicle Fire Shuts Down Eastbound Lanes on Cypresswood Drive

HOUSTON (August 3, 2023) — A vehicle fire caused a significant traffic disruption on Cypresswood Drive and Kuykendahl Road today at approximately 6 p.m. The eastbound lanes of Cypresswood Drive in the 4300 block area were temporarily shut down, according to authorities.

Constable Deputies from Precinct 4 and the Klein Fire Department were promptly on the scene to manage the situation. Despite the severity of the fire, no injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and it is unclear when the lanes will be reopened. Motorists are being advised to seek alternate routes until further notice.
