Woman shot at Swift gas station in north Houston

A woman was found shot at a Swift Gas station located at 1177 Greens Rd, Houston, TX 77060 around 12:45 a.m. on July 22, 2022.

According to Lt. R. Willkens of the Houston Police Department, the woman, in her mid-40s, arrived on foot at the Swift Gas Station by W Hardy and Greens Rd. She told first responders that a Hispanic male was giving her a ride, and as she was trying to get out, the driver shot her. It is unclear if she was shot once or twice, but she had two wounds, a chest wound, and a neck round.

She was taken to a local hospital and is receiving treatment for her injuries.
