A drunken off-duty police officer broke into a car, left his phone, and is not being charged

Fairfield, NJ – An investigation has been started after a phone was found inside a vehicle that was broken into the night before turned out to belong to a off-duty police officer who evidently had one hell of a night.

In this video, which is now going viral on TikTok, Erica R (@ericar831) details how she found her vehicle trashed and a phone that belonged to this off duty police officer. The police department was called and no charges were pressed. Erica thankfully decided to record her interaction and ask for an investigation as to why a police officer, who ended up in her car was being allowed to walk free.

In another video, Captain Chuck explained that the officer in question admitted to being blacked out drunk, yet he remembers “hooking up with that girl last night”. Erica shocked, goes on to say that she was with her boyfriend that night. But how can he remember being with her, if he was blacked out drunk?
