HPD has just released bodycam footage of a death in custody

The Houston Police Department attempted to arrest William Escano, who was the prime suspect in the a quadruple homicide that killed a family of four in the 6300 block of Alder.

Police caught up to him sleeping in a white truck. At that point, William lifted a gun to his head and shot himself.

While this seems like this is an open and shut case. (Police officers identified themselves, didn’t even fire the weapon, and called EMS right away) You can watch the bodycam footage here and tell us what you think in the comments below.
