Fact Check: Did they really find Brian Laundrie’s burner phone?

Brian Laundrie, the main suspect in the murder of Gaby Petito purchased a burner phone on September 14 in North Port, FL from an AT&T store.

The FBI now believes they have possession of this phone. It should be noted that this phone was found in the parent’s home, not in a search area like Fort DeSoto Park where a couple recently learned they may have accidentally taken a selfie with Brian Laundrie in the background on September 6th, days after Gaby was murdered.

It remains unclear if this was the only burner phone that Brian Laundrie purchased before disappearing.
