Whoops! Lyft driver ran over their rider’s foot!

On September 15, 2019 a rider was attempting to get into their Lyft when the Lyft driver decided to take off without warning. The rider is now seeking between $250,000-$1,000,000 in damages. Yes, the driver is named in the lawsuit as well as Lyft.

While this may seem like old news, the lawsuit was just filed on June 14, 2021.

Note to self: Make sure the rider is clear of the vehicle before taking off.
