CBS’ ‘Blue Bloods’ Refuses to acknowledge systemic racism in the NYPD

The show’s December 4 episode “Triumph Over Trauma” went as far as to reject the charge of “systemic racism” in the NYPD.

The December 4 season premiere ‘Triumph Over Trauma’ sees Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) arguing with City Council Speaker Regina Thomas (Whoopi Goldberg) and standing up for his officers that systemic racism and oppression in the police force does not exist when in reality it does.

Fortunately, Blue Bloods is not a reality show and is purely fiction.
