A 23-year-old black man was murdered by a SWAT officer over a sandwich

Casey Christopher Godson Jr., 23, pictured below was killed by police as he arrived at his home on Friday afternoon.

Family members say that Casey was carrying a Subway sandwich and was on his way from the dentist when he was fatally shot in the back, not just once, but three times by a Franklin County Sheriff’s office SWAT deputy, who is assigned to the U.S. Marshall’s fugitive task force.

According to officers, he was believed to be carrying a gun.

It should be noted that “a handgun was recovered.” – according to police.
