Opinion: The House just voted to make weed legal, but it is a waste of time

Forget the second stimulus, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to end the federal ban on cannibas.

The final vote was 228-164, with the majority being Democratic, 5 Republicans, and an independent to pass the legislation. Most Republicans and six Democrats opposed the bill.

Considering the Republicans have control of the Senate and won’t allow any legislation regarding the legalization of weed to pass, this is a symbolic gesture, and a grand waste of time since this time could have been used for passing a second stimulus.. something most Americans need.
