Reminder: Uber Select will no longer be available after July 31, 2020

As reported back in January, Uber Select will no longer be available in Houston come July 31, 2020, thanks to UberComfort.

There have been reports of an uptick in select rides thanks to COVID-19. Riders have found that paying a little more money resulted in cleaner rides. After all, you get what you pay for right?

I am not a marketing guru, but during a pandemic, shutting down Uber Select seems like a missed oppurtunity.

I was hoping that Uber would change their mind on this, after all, this desicion was made before COVID-19. It appears this is not the case.

It has been a good ride, but like all rides, it has to come to come to an end at some point.
